Cabela's brand, who manuf. this stuff?

Thanks for all the previous baitcaster input. Cabela's has a goodlooking combo, their IM7 tourney trail rod ($99) with their Cabela's Megaroyal baitcaster reel w/ six ball bearings ($89) all for $129. Anyone have any experience with the cabelas brand. Who makes it, they must just label someone's products.

Mark, Some of Cabela's rod blanks are made by St. Croix and believe it or not, some of their upper end graphite blanks are from G. Loomis. Never had any experience with their reels, but I've bought many other products from them over the years. One thing I can promise you, if you are ever dissatisfied, they will replace your product without alot of hassle.

Dave is right, they will replace stuff without any hassle. I live 40 miles from the Sidney store and most of my gear comes from there. I like there rods. I don't like there lures though. They run all over the place. Overall they have good stuff.

I stuck one of there rods in a ceiling fan and it stripped the top three eyelets off. I told them and they replaced it no questions asked. They did give me some advice...don't stick rods in ceiling fans!
