View Full Version : Loomis blank problem
My rod maker was informed that Loomis will no longer make rod blanks available for custom rod builders. They will only sell the factory built models at the retail level. Any comments?
That might be the case.
If you look at the web site for GLoomis.com - you will find that they no longer offer the blank specs - as they have in the past.
My current supplier - still has an excellent supply of Loomis blanks - and I have not asked him if there is a supply problem. I will ask them tomorrow.

I heard this also last week. Bummer. So now, instead of having a rod to our specifications, Loomis know now what is best for us.
As OOC said, on to Lamiglas (or St. Croix)!
