Back by popular demand, there will be a kids fishing workshop held Thursday, March 22, 2001 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hall High School Gym in Spring Valley.
The workshop is free to kids of all ages. I have many of the same activities as last year, casting, fish filleting, knot tying, tackle making, jig tying, and harness tying. I'll have bait on hand for the kids to look at and touch too.
The "big kids" always have lots of questions too, so I've created some displays to help answer questions...and I have a "fish jeopardy" game for the kids to play.
Donations of any kind for the kids are always welcomed and all MWC fishermen are invited to share their knowledge and experience with the kids.
One last note, we are always in need of fish to fillet, so plese save a couple!!!! It doesn't matter what kind!!! Fillets are donated to the community.
