What Lake?

Am planning a trip to Canada in Mid-August. Would like to know the fishing report for that time of year on Lake of the Woods (Monument Bay area) or Lac Suel. Anyone had this experience at this time of year?

I don't know the lake,and I've not been there,but that type of water and the size of it,call's for some reef fishin'.Troll the reef's and island's near them.If you're fishing for 'eye's,hit the spot's with leech's.(Trolling's for Musky's).

There are some good fishing reports for that area. Just search northwestern ontario fishing reports and you will find all kinds, there is one site that has about ten reports on the Woods and two or three on Lac Seul.
