Pinpoint 7420

Anyone used one of these? Looks like a good unit for the price, just a few more $$ than an X-85.

I had a prototype sent to me and tested it for Pinpoint. The unit is very good and will do everything they sai it will. I doubt that many 7420's have been on the water with walleye boats yet but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one.

Installing 2 7420's on my new G3 as we speak. I'm running wires now to network them. Hopefully will get out next week to test them.I think they are going to be great. Time will tell. goose925

OK I will. I was in the same boat as you could not decide. They both seem good. What I like about the pinpoint is 2 will work at the same time without interference. Plus I can pull up my bow motor with the ducer on it and still be able to use the graph by switching to the rear ducer. I was told for 49.99 you can send the units to pinpoint to upgrade software everyyear or whenever. goose925
