walleye cheeks?

what is the easiest way to remove walleye cheeks? I have been having a tough time with it...can anyone help me.

Some guys sharpen the end of a spoon.I just put the end of the knife in and angle abit and it comes out real easy then you just take the skin off as you pull it out.

I too,use the filet knife,stick it in and sort of scoup it out. Yummy,to the core!

Use a flexible fillet knife and cut in one motion from the gill plate to the the eye, leave the skin attatched at the eye and and peel the cheek right off. The best appitizer out there for the fry cook. Yummy!
