I was on Reed's site looking at the 7200 depth finder. Does anyone out there have one? What do you like /dislike about it? How much faith do you put in what it puts out for fish arches and bottom structure? Is the screen large enough to mount on the front deck by the trolling motor? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Remember the 7500 has to have the trolling motor to go with it. The 7520 can stand alone. Reed's has some 7500's leftovers from last year that are on sale. Hence the price. I have not bought a 7520 but,I am seriously thinking about it. The update speed is great. My other choice is the X85. $200+ less. A little smaller screen and speed. What do you guys think?

But with the 7200 or another 72__ series you get a standalone transducer right? 7260 or something like that. I'm curious how it performs.
Thanks

The 7200 series requires the Pinpoint trolling motor. It does not have a separate transducer. The 7320, 7420 & 7520 are stand alone units. Good luck! Fred

They show the 7220 with a standalone transducer. Is that a mistake? I have to call them on another matter. I'll see what they say.
