i am looking at buying the new lowrance x-15mt. i was looking at one on display at a local sport shop and the demo seemed really slow. is it just the demo? thanks for any info.

Try searching the archives for this topic.... It has been covered extensively in the last few months.
To summarize: Pretty much everyone agreed, that in demo mode, it looked very slow. The question was, is the slow problem only in demo mode? Or in real life too? They have come up with an upgrade you can download from their website to solve this problem.
Maybe a new unit would already be upgraded, I'm sure you could find out after you bought it.
