View Full Version : Bass Pro Extreme XPS rods
I saw in the new BPS catalog that the Extreme XPS rods normally going for $99 are $59. And if I get that new stradic I want I can get it for $20 in a combo deal. Who makes these rods? Are they high quality? Looks like a great deal if I'm going to get a new reel anyway.

Where are you seeing them for $59 in Bass Pro? I know if you get a combo you can get the rod for that price but have not seen it priced that cheap individually. Good all around rods but not G-Loomis or St. Croix.
The "Get ready for summer" sale flyer came in the mail today.

There nice rods and I guarantee they'll catch anything any other rod will catch. Bass Pro rods (Bionic Blade & Extreme) are made on the same assembly line right beside Fenwick.Just get the right action for the style of fishin your doing.

At that price, I'd get more than one. How about treating yourself and getting the combo with a new Stradic on an Extreme spinning rod. Great combo at a steal of a price. I should have gotten into sales!
Same blank as Goldenwing or HMG?

I have owned the 7 Foot bottom bouncer rods for 2 years now and they have been a delight. I am a Loomis/St Croix user most of the time but these rods are really great. I thought the quality of craftsmanship was also very good.

I was down at Gurney last weekend and picked up 2 of the 2000 models for $45 apiece. They`re very nice rods. For that money, I`d say they were a real steal.
