Going to a lake in Ontario the end of march to target trophy northern. Looking for a few tips on location/presentation and what to be looking for. Thanks in advance.

Six to nine inch Portugese sardines on a quick strike rig on a tip up
Can't miss with this combination in March. The pike are starting to bite now. Pulled a couple of 30 inchers out on Sunday. Expecting bigger ones this weekend.
