Has anyone ever tried using the Aqua-view unit, on the Madison WI. Chain, during the summer, when the lakes are GREEN colored. I wonder if the camera would be useful at that time, or,if because of the high algae content of the water you wouldn't be able to see anything. Interested in others experiences. Mickey

Watched the show and thought that it was an info-commercial. Is it true that UV lights do nothing in the water? Guess I was suckered if it is true, I may start a new post and see if others were taken!!!!

I understand their was some T.V. program where underwater cameras were compared for features.
I was working and missed it. Exactly which cameras were compared and how were the results ?

I used the UVS unit this winter and loved it. It's compact, and has the slickest system for controlling the cable I've seen yet. It has a bracket that fits over the line and allows changes in up and down movement, as well as a ratchet for turning the camera in "clicks".

The unit used was the OVS underwater camera, not UVS.
