5600 AB and superlines?

I just got a 5600 Anti-Backlash and in the video they included they stated NOT to use superlines with the anti-backlash feature. I really wanted to put some 30# braid on it. Does anyone out there have an AB that they spooled up with a superline anyway? If so, any excess wear or damage to the anti-backlash parts? And does the superline hinder the AB feature at all? Thanks

The superlines may damage the anti-backlash lever and/or quide. You can use the reel just fine with out lacing the line through the anti-backlash lever or try one of the new florocarbon lines. The're low/no strech tuff lines with near invisiblity and allow deep depths for cranks like the superline.
