I used it all last year. Wont use it anymore. It frays terribly and after it frays, it gets weak. I didnt like it at all.

It's very knot trying sensitive. I wouldn't buy it again. It depends how deep your jigging. I would think with the stretch anything over 35 ft. and it would be hard to feel.
Good Luck!!

Exellent line for long lining with cranks, vertical jigging & spooning. Like any thing new (to fresh water) it requires effort, the advantages are well worth it. Watch your knots. lube em up good before you cinch them down or the line will fray and test the knot.
the're always bitin'

Vanish is complete GARBAGE. I've never fished a line that bad in my life. But it is invisible! Try Rapala Finesse you will like it.

Used it last year and had a lot of problems. Knot strengh very poor and line seemed very "brittle". Tie and overhand knot in it and break the line. The minimum effort to break it is surprising. I went back to my old tried and proven stren original.
Hey Deadey could I some some of that Rappala Line at Dicks?

Excellent leader material. Too much strech for me to spool up with it, but in clear water makes for a deadly leader. Very heat sensitive so watch your knots. Make sure they are good and wet when you tie em. Keep an eye on it for wear and you shouldn't have any trouble.

NOTHING BUT SPLIT ENDS! YUK WONT USE IT AGAIN!
I made about 50 spinners on it last year, No problems!!
Out fished anyting else on the boat (probably combo of vanish and my cool looking hand painted blades)last summer. I will be making a few more for this year. I use folded metal clevises and have not had any problems with not strength or fraying.
Anyone tried Stren fluoro?
100% fluorocarbon.
Think Vanish is a mix of nylon and fluorocarbon.

I wasted money on it once, but won't be fooled again. Try Seagar line much better, Vanish can't hold a candle to Seagar....
