I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the new Eagle Accura 240 and/or the Garmin 240 Fishfinder. They both have the features and cost I'm looking for, but I am wondering which one is "hands down" the better of the two.

I as well as quite a few on this board have given up on the Garmin. While it is a nice fishfinder for the price, the finders were losing bottom after about a months worth of use. Apparently the transducers short out really easy. I dished out the extra money and went with an X-85. Couldn't be happier. If Garmin ever figures out what the deal was, I wouldn't hesitate getting one.
