I just found out tha Gander in Appleton (and probably others) is having their annual line sale starting this Sunday. 1 penny a yard for up to 10# Trilene XT ot XL, and they spool it on. Last year I had 12 reels spooled for $27. Last spring I checked my SG27's and found they all had different amounts of line left on them from the previous years fishing. When I measured the line out to the same spot, each of the 6 reels measured a different distance, from 175' to 230'. Now I always replace the line on all of them at the start of the year. At least for a while the are the same.
