Hi,

Bass pro shops has a great deal on an Eagle fish easy portable for only $100. That's a great deal for you Yanks but I live in Canada and buying from them up here sucks. They charge $16 u.s shipping for a simple thing like that. I can find an Eagle fish I.d 128 for cheaper from another place but was wondering about the quality of this product. I went onto the Eagle website and they had no information about. It must be old. Has anyone tried either of these and what did you think of it and what advise to you have for me.

I have a fish ID 128 portable and have used it for the last two years. It's a good reliable finder. Not too many features, but it does all that you ask of it. It's also fairly cheap.

I havn't tried the fish easy, but it's replacing the fish ID 128. The fish ID 128 doesn't have greyline, which shows you the actual texture of the bottom (sand, rock, mud). The Fish easy may have this feature. If it does, then it's worth the extra money, if it doesn't, then get the fish ID.
