Who is the best new rookies in professional walleye angling? It is easy to find this information in professional bass angling, however not so easy within professional walleye angling. Who are the future of your sport?
We appreciate your thoughts.

Are there any new young pro's we should watch this year? These kind of questions are what our sport needs to address.

hopefully my 10 year old son micheal thorsell will be the next rookie pro .the walleyes on devils lake fear him.
No one seems to care. That is sad. My vote is for Mike Peluso. There is a young guy out of Nebraska, I believe, I like as well.

It certainly was a lot of fun fishing with all of you on Sunday. If you were there, you couldn't help but be impressed with the way the tournament was run. We ended up sixth. Nothing like getting paid to fish! My partner and I are now hooked on tournament fishing, and I would like to thank everyone who contributes to the pursuit of the greatest hobby on the planet Earth!

Ok. Where can we get this kind of information?
Well my vote would go to not really a Rookie persay, but a young upcoming guy. Also a great guy, and a good fisherman. A great combo in Walleye fishing.
Chalkl one up for, Nate Provost.

I have no idea who would be the person you are looking for. But you may get more positive feedback if you didn't hide behind "Corporate"... No email address and no profile. I seriously doubt you are anyone besides some average Joe like me, trying to look official. "We appreciate your feedback" who the #### is we?

This is a hard question to answer, with so many circuts and tournaments to fish this year there could be many standouts. I'd keep a eye on the MWC, RCL, and PWT and watch the unknowins and watch the number of shows they fish and were they place. Two people I'd keep a eye on are Julia Davis AKA Juls my vote for one the best up and coming woman fisherpersons, and James Moes AKA hawgboy, He is a very good all round fisherman and a constant producer on Erie. Both of them are sitting in the top 20 of the Ill. River MWC Show that is going on now. Just have to watch and see.....

Corp. Subscribe to a fishing magazine a read it! Read every issue of Walleye IN-Sider and figure out who is making the cut and in the PWT Championship. Also look to the other Tournament series Like MWC, RCL, Team Walleye, NAWA: they all have web site.Other web sits like Walleyes Inc. are good source of info and actually go to the Tournaments and follow them for a year. Or if your want to sponsor someone give me a call.

That would have to be my buddy and tourney partner Todd Consbruck from West Point Nebraska. He is a great guy and really into promoting the sport and his sponsors.

Thank You. I can see we are probably looking into the wrong sport for our company. I sure hope Getreel, Flyboy and Gary are not out promoting the sport of walleye fishing. Bass fishing has done a good job of getting over the "bubba" factor. It looks as though walleye fishing has a ways to go.

It's really simple....if you don't want attitude, don't give attitude. You cannot expect anyone to take you seriously when you make efforts not to identify yourselves. When someone calls me on the phone, they identify themselves. Even telemarketers do that....
For your info bubba I constantly promote our sport ,I live for fishing, and I mean I live for it .So whoever you are ,dont tell me what I do and dont do!If you want to be a tourney watcher,be one,Im not.If you need to live through them, that is a shame.I also would put my skill up against anyone!

If you are a sponsor in the fishing industry, shouldn't you already know? Something smells here, and it ain't fish.

I'm a little biased, but I'd go with Bill Ortiz from Dodgeville, WI
Hot stick with a good rep and phenominal skills.

It's very hard to figure that out, but you will have to get out and see. The pwt, mwc, and rcl are very good places to start, but if you want to know who is coming up look in the minors. Many trails get over looked. A lot of smaller trails like team walleye, iowa walleye trail, miss walleye curcit, and many more. So if you really want to know don't just look at finishs, talk to the tourn. directors. They know about these people you are looking for.

BE, you have that so right. Last nite we got blessed with another fishing fool. A grand daughter. The rest love it and she should be no exception. The event of a kid getting fish is a real thrill. Ironically I hate to sit in a restaurant near kids, but get em in a boat and its another story, another kid.
Don't know about the pro stuff but if they are happy we should be also.
Jack, Scott is still hot on the pontoon. easier to change diapers than on a deep V I guess.

Who ever said we were? It is people like you who create separation in our sport. I don't consider myself any better or any worse than any bass fisherman, or any other fisherman for that matter. If we choose to represent walleye fishing, that is up to us, not you. I guess Walleye fishing as a whole isn't ready for a large company like yours, after all, your company doesn't have a name, an email address, or even a representative for that matter. Please crawl back into the shadows from which you crept.

My vote is for Mike Peluso also! From what I have seen and heard, what a stud! Good luck on the PWT this summer.
