What would you think of a live well cooler for your boat, that could cool your live well down by almost 15 degrees while on recirculate. With no additional wiring or drain on your batteries. I have tested this system in my boat and have cooled the water in my live well from 75 to 57 degrees in just over an hour, With an air temp of 75. Let me know what you think and thanks in advance for your input. Oh sorry about the Lund Pro V onwers thing but thats all Ive tested it on so far. If the responce is possitive Ill look into hooking it up to other boats as well.
Thanks again

you know that sound like a good idea. did you do that while recirculating the water in there or could you do it with fresh water? you know there are a lot of people out there with good ideas who are just too afraid of having their ideas stolen from them to try to market them. who hasnt had a whopper of an idea and then wonder who to tell to try to get it marketed? its too bad too, i bet that kind of fear really prevents a lot of good ideas from becoming reallity
You have a great idea. Keeping fish cool and healthy during a tournament is very important. It's been a big problem for years. Can you tell us a bit about it without giving your plans away? Something like this has been in the back of my mind for years, but I've never really figured it out totally.
Any possibility for home use ?? If it's not drawing any juice from the battery I will assume there is ice involved. If for some reason ice isn't involved you have a big market with the all of us that have fish tanks in our homes. Salt water reef tanks need cooling as opposed to heating as do any freshwater cold species. For many people the coolers and/or fan systems are cost prohibitive.
On the other hand I will be a boat owner someday soon and would like to hear more - regardless.

Crestliner had a livewell water cooling system back in the early 1990's that used ice I believe.Great idea though.
