Any information on these reels good or bad? Who makes them for Bass Pro? I am a Daiwa fan but like the price and they are including a XPS rod to make the deal even sweeter. Thanx for all replies.

I have many BPS Pro Qualifier rods and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality rod for a good value. The models that I fish with are the 6'6" medium spinning and the 7' casting. I also have several BPS P&K 8'6" trolling rods and these are also sweet rods. I do not know who manufactures the rods for BPS. The medium action have a fast tip with good backbone. The higher end BPS combo's are excellent for those seeking quality on a budget.

I've had a P.Q for less than a year. I have the "20" size. Nice reel - no problems. It has had a lot of use in this time - even lent it to Dad-in-Law for Canada trip. Shows no sign of wear - I like it. $70
