I Would like to thank the Spring Valley Walleye Club for running an excellent tournament under very difficult conditions. Thank you to all the boy scouts, women and men that froze their hinies off.

Once again, the Spring Valley Walleye Club has set the standard for a perfectly organized and executed MWC tournament. Even with all the challenges the cold and snow and ice created, they never missed a beat.

And a special congratulations to Bill Guerinni on 15 years of exceptional service to walleye/sauger anglers and conservation.

A particular highlight was when the head of the IL DNR came to the tournament on Sunday a presented Bill with a special award recognizing his efforts to acquatic conservation. Nobody is more deserving.

Mind lapse . . . I also wanted to thank the North American Fishing Club to their sponsorship of the SV tournament and also tanbks to walleye central for their support at the tournament and with the live leader board.

With the freezing temperatures, many anglers were very grateful to have the service crews from Ranger, Motorguide and Mercury there. They really put forth an exceptional effort to get everyone on the water.

I too was down in this area early in the week and was impressed with how nice everyone was throughout the whole town of Spring Valley....Great bunch of people!! Now I know why you guys have your tourny in this area!! Thanks much! Wiz

Well said!! All I can do is add my thanks too. It was a very enjoyable week down there. Great people, great fishing, and great fun! Couldn't ask for anything more.
