Thanks for taking the time to type out the Repacking Bearings directions. I'm still a little nervous about tearing into em, but I think with the information I got, I should be able to manage it.
I would have emailed you, but I have walleyecentral email and the mailroom is down more than it is up, so i had to post on the discussion board.
thank you.

You're very welcome Eric. It is not a big as you think, but if you have any doubts, there in no sense giving up piece of mind to save a few bucks. In the end your safety is more important and if you screw up the bearings you could put you or someone else in danger.
I would highly receommend asking a garage if you could watch while they do for you the first time. The rythum and proccess will then make better sense.
Good luck..spring is REALLY around the corner. I can see the light!

EricCO,
As with AquaMan - you're very welcome and we both want your safety first, bearings second! Besides, when you post here others, who didn't ask or just don't ask, get a benefit from the information sharing. This is what this Board is all about - SHARING between like minds and good people in the pursuit of 'Ol "Marbeleyes"!!
The repacking of bearings is really much easier than what it looked like on the threads - BUT - if you are hesitant, it would be a good idea to watch it being done and not necessarily to your boat trailer. If you even have a passing "buddy" that is in the industry (mechanic) simply ask to watch. Most will be happy to. Mechanics aren't thrilled to repack bearings anyway. It's not like they're giving up a trade secret and loosing money from it. Once you SEE it being done, it's easy to reproduce the rhythm. Take the knowledge, go home and do yours.
