does anybody out there have a older style ant. they want to sell or know sombody that has one for sale ? mine went out and all the new ones are 12 channel and they cant fix the old ones anymore. when it went out, they said could rebuild it for 100.00 and now they say they cant and, want 300.00 to convert my lms-350 to a 12 channel and and 12 channel ant. doesnt sound like a very fair deal to me, not realy sure if its worth doing that at that price. what would you do ? open for suggestions !!!

I have a LGC-1 5 channel antenna on the shelf in the box. It has never been used. I don't have a price right now, but if you give me a call anytime between 8 and 3 I can get you a price.
Phone # 320-963-5005 or e-mail at warrior@lkdllink.net Asked for either Troy or Bobbi.

Hammer I just had that upgrade done and it was my understanding that the 350 would run on the 12 channel Module without an upgrade to the head . You may want to Email Lowrance on that but I was told thte new maodule atenna would work and that I won't have anymore troubles like before. I went through 3 modules. They don't make the 5 channel anymore. The 12 is a nice low profile module and will be alot more convenient.

i called them yesterday and they told me i had to send the unit in to, to get the upgrade done, so i guess they have to do it, will have to look into it further, thanks.

Hammertime,
I have a used old style 5 channel GPS module. If you can't find another one, email me. I'd kind of like to hold onto it but if you're stuck I'll sell it to you.

Here's the way it was explained to me from Lowrance.
In the older units the GPS module/"brains" were in the rectangular bigger receiver. In the newer units, the GPS module/"brains" are in the 350 head unit. The newer small round antenna is "just" and antenna. This is why the new head unit will not work with the older modules and vice versa.

You might try calling Reed's on 218 547-1505 or Mandas on 330 644-6774.

The one on e-bay was a used unit with a mount that ended up going for $127.50.....I know 'cause I got "sniped" w/ 10 seconds left on the bid. One marina bought it from another.
