Just had to let everyone know that the fishing up there is awesome. Most of our fish came from the reefs from 26ft.-40ft. Tried leeches but minnows seem to work the best. Also tried lindy riggin but jigs took most fish/white. Going up this weekend again, let you's all know.

Will be leaving for Sioux Narrows on Aug. 13th, could you give me some potential spots to fish for walleye? This will be my first time fishing in the Sioux Narrows area. Thanks.

Yea walleye fishing has been very good up here, I thing the regualations and overall fisherman attitudes has made the walleye fishing up here great. It's been a about the last five years the walleye fishing has been as you say awesome.Good luck.

I was looking at Tomahawk Resort online maps the other day at http://www.tomahawkresort.com/lakeofthewoods/ . You can easily pick out the reefs from them.

Have fun!

I was at Tomahawk last week in Sioux Narrows, everyone is going to Yellow Girl to fish the Walleyes (darker water) Jigs, yellow, orange, chart, with minnows caught all the fish, most of them in the 16 to 19 inch range.
