Had a friend that just got back from Lac Seul tell me that he had heard that somebody had caught a 53" Pike on Lac Seul.
Has anybody else heard about it. How much would that Big Girl weigh?
It was a 53" musky which was caught by an angler from wisconsin in the chamberlain narrows area.Supposedly it had a 24" girth.

A couple of years ago I caught a 45" pike that weighed 27lbs so a 53 incher has to top out in the upper 30's maybe 40 depending on how fat it was....

This Pike was supposed to have been caught last week. Is that when the Muskie was caught. If so they probably are the same fish.
