Vezilar puck mounted on bowmount motor.

I want to mount my hs puck on my bowmount trolling motor. Is an S cable needed to eliminate interference or will the standard set up be sufficient? Also, how about signal overlap from wide potrait and my X75. Will I need to adjust for overlap? Thanks for any help.

I had a puck transducer for my Vexilar on the bowmount of my former rig. I did not use an s-cable and did not experience any problems with interference.
