There is a fairly new Holiday Inn Express on Hwy 17 East. The phone number is 1-807-223-3000.
comfort inn is very nice and reasonably priced

There is a Best Western that is nice with a pool and a restaurant. Nice place to sit and have a couple of cold ones before or week fishing trip.
oops, i was speaking about the best western. never stayed at comfort. sorry.

I know this is probably a dumb question, but are there places to buy liquor and beer in Dryden? I have not been there and we are planning a trip for Sept.

[font color=green size=3][b]There is a beer store and a liquir store, both are on the East end a few blocks apart. Alchol is not sold in grocery stores, ect.
they sell beer at these government stores which are only open limited hours. seems like i remember that they are open when people are working and close when they get off. typical government. buy the legal allowable amount in international falls, because you may well arrive after they close. i think liquor is the same deal, but at another store if memory serves.
