Off Shore Boards

Seems like Christmas, just received my Spring order from Cabelas yesterday, and it was fun to open it all up.

I didn't look at them that closely, but I ordered the off shore boards with the tattle flag kit to replace my Roach boards. I was rather surprised, what is the permanent mounted flag on the boards for. Does that get replaced when you install the tattle flag kit or what?

Yup, You will have an extra flag.

Use the extra screw and attach it to your roach board.

JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST SET OF OFF SHORE BOARDS MYSELF THIS WINTER. UPGRADED TO THE TATTLE TALE FLAGS AFTER A COUPLE OF TIMES OUT THIS WINTER. FISHED WITH THEM THE FIRST TIME LAST WEEKEND FOR STEELIES THIS PAST WEEKEND. THEY WORK GREAT. YOU DO REMOVE THE FLAG THAT COMES WITH THE BOARD. REPLACED BOTH FLAGS WITH THE UPGRADE KIT IN ABOUT 10 MINUTES. YOU CAN ADJUST THE TENSION ON THE FLAG BY MOVING THE SPRING TO A FARTHER HOLE FOR CRANKBAITS. GOOD LUCK AND TIGHT LINES, EYE PROBLEM

So the Roach boards will just have a flag for visability right?
