With cameras it always depends what you want them to do.
My opinion on both of these units mentioned is they both are pretty good for the money.I own an aqua vu and do like it, for ice fishing.
If you want to troll though, neither would be good.
The unit not compared with the other systems on the T.V. show was Strike Vision.I also have one of these. It is designed to give real trolling performance, and much easier ease of handling. It's absolutely in a league of it's own, and can't be compared with the others, so I'm sure that's why Capra's didn't even try to use it in the comparisons.

I watched the capra show and I think they did a good comparison.I'm going to buy an aqua view too.
I don't know anything about what the other cameras can do different anyhow. As far as that strike vison camera goes even if it is way better for trolling, I never ever troll.

Catch Cam
I saw Capra's show too, he is sponsored to the hilt by Aqua View and the content of the report seemed to favor the Aqua View.

I like trolling.
I use Strike Vision that's made by walker downriggers.
Can the other brands be set up to see a trolled lure down 75- 150 feet,in less than a minute? And then when a fish hits have the camera back up and cable stored neatly in under a minute with less than 3 seconds of effort on the part of the operator?
I think not! When I'm fishing I want to fish, not just screw around with a bunch of crap, that wasn't designed to be easy to use.
