Hey has anyone else noticed that the ice is still in january condition. I live in wright county MN and my guess is that ice out will occur in early May. Im baseing this on the past years thaw time of 4-5 weeks, its april tommarow and the thawing has not begun. What do you guys think?

It's the same up here. I just hope that I don't get burned on my holidays like I did a few years ago. Walleye season here opens on the 3rd Sat. of May. That one year everything was still frozen! A week off to watch ice melt!

This spring?? is really getting depressing, last year we were officially ice free on the 19th of March here on White Bear. I heard just the other day we'll be lucky if the ice is gone for opener on the northern lakes. #####, I'll be turning cartwheels if it EVER goes away.
Looks like ice out and spring have been cancelled here in New York :-(
