Can someone tell me if a plastic cover for treble hooks, or where I could possibly find any?
Thank You, schmuck

Yes they are made. Check with your local tackle store. Might be made by Luhr-Jensen?

I believe that you can get them from Jann's. I don't have their catalog here at work (yep..working), but you can order their catalog on-line at http://www.jannsnetcraft.com lots of stuff and good people to deal with. Good Fishing, Sluggo

I bought them from Bass Pro shops. Cabela's has them too but more expensive than Bass Pro. I do have to say that they are probably the best investment I have made as far as tackle goes. No more tangled cranks in your box, and safety also. You can pile 8 to 10 in each slot in your box and they will not tangle.

Once saw a tip about how to make something like that using cork. You just cut the cork in slices, and then make a notch so you can slide it on above the hook points. Never tried it myself though.

In Cabelas catalouge, they are called, Hook Bonnets-. i keep my cranks, jigs&whatever in the gasket seal woodstream boxes, You can stack the cranks with the bonnets on the trebles and never have a snarl up. There are two sizes, the smaller will cover most crank trebles. just remember when out on the water, air the cranks your changing out to dry before storing-the bonnet will cause them to rust.
