These units seem comparable in price, although the zercom has 160 pixels and the garmin 240.However, the zercom seems much faster. Unfortunately, both these units seem to be awful dim even with the backlight all the up. Any suggestions on which would be the better unit? I fish in lakes less than 40 feet deep, and mostly with less than 20 feet. Would like a unit that works well at least up to 35 mph or so.
