On a Lund Pro V will a bow mount motor with a 52 inch shaft work all right length wise? Also when you measure the shaft is it just the shaft or do you include the motor or head? Thanks
Yes it will if the lake is calm. I had an 1890 LE when it first came out and I had a 54in shaft and it worked fine as long as it was relatively calm but a 60in would have been better on that boat . What model Pro V do you have.

I have a 17 1/2 OMC Roughneck, at times I have had the 60" shaft
out of the water. With waves of any real size you will need the long shaft.

Moterguide uses just the shaft length and my new 60" Excel is really to long for there bigwater gator mount. It has to be up about 3" to sit on the end of the mount properly.
Hope this helps
