Lake Sakakawea

We are thinking of going up to the Van Hook Arm on Lake Sakakawea for the July 4, holiday. What motels would you guy's/gals recommend in that area?
What are some good general areas to fish and what seems to be some of the best presentations, etc.?

Maybe give me a yell after the PWT event June 25-27 as I am fishing that as a amatuer and I may be able to help you after that event however we will not be allowed up into Van Hook, just as far north as Deep Water Bay.

If it is a motel you are looking for, there are not many in that area. A good one, however, is at the Four Bears Casino just west of New Town. Spacious rooms, comfortable furnishings, and not so bad food. Plus, there's the casino if you care for that type of thing.

RR.... send me an email if you need names & no.'s of motels in Newtown. I deliver UPS in that area. Also know a couple different guides if needed. There are 3 motels right in town plus the casino, but that is usually booked up.
