Don't know about the results, but I did spend Friday out on the river, just below the dam. All we got was 1 spoonbill. There were about 30 boats around us, and I saw nobody reel in any 'eyes all day. I suspect its a bit cold yet, but the twitch in my left knee tells me we are really close to seeing them hit hard and heavy. I plan to try again next weekend.

APPROXIMATE ---- Sat was won by about 7#, 5 fish over 15". Only one limit caught I believe. 30-40 mph winds, light snow for a few minutes even. Sun was won by 8.5# or so, 5 fish over 15". Four or five limits that day, a couple of teams ran down river quite a ways that were in the top 4. The water dropped 1.5' again sat night.
Seems the big fish sat was a 4.9# and sun was 2.98# or so. This is obviously much worse fishing than typical this time of year on this water.
This tourney is a prime example of why tourneys should have a "10 day entry rule" prior to start date, lots of people pre-fished and then left without entering.
Wayne Stensrud does a good job and all the participants were fantastic guys and very sportsmanlike. It was a "combat" jigging tourney because it was so difficult to get downriver and everyone had to pretty much fish the community holes. I never saw any temper exhibited and courtesy was given to people who caught a fish and tried to hover to net it or catch another one. It was a great three days to work on boat control, many of us had to use a kicker and bow trolling motor to maintain control on saturday.
