Has anyone ever used this line for trolling? Does it have to much stretch to it? thanks in advance.
I have used Big Game for trolling , when I wanted to use a monofillament line. ( I have switched to Fireline and Whiplash for all my trolling now)
I found Bog Game to have moderate stretch, good abrasion resistance, and was inexpensive.
Berkley Big game was what we started trolling with in 88. We've tried others but any near as good is much more expensive. Yes it has stretch, but all mono does, and stretch is not a bad thing for open water power trolling. In my honest opinion, it one of the best values in fishing.

Very nice trolling line. Like the low price for filling high capacity level wind reels. Excellent abrasion resistance which makes it nice in releases. Not the best choice for situations where a smaller diameter is preferred.

Beem using the 14lb on my segmented leadcore reels for years, holds up very well. Tried the Berkley XT and I could not tell the difference between them for this type of application....

After trial and error with many other brands over a quarter century, I have used Big Game exclusively for Lake Michigan trout and salmon trolling. You are probably interested in line for walleyes, but if you are putting in long hours on big water with line exposed to the usual culprits (for mono that's sun and water), you can't go wrong with Big Game.

ETT says it best it is probably one of the best buys in fishinglines. Sold a lot of it it is the # trolling line both fresh and saltwater (mono) 6&8 resonably jig able.
