I was going through the archives to see what I have missed while I was "away". Imagine my surprise when I read the post from my wonderful husband and all of the responses. I wanted to say thanks to all of you who said a prayer. It really meant alot.
I am home from the hospital and I am starting to feel a little better.
I was really sick for a long time. Turned out that I was getting so ill from the meds. Anesthesia..made me sick. The morphine..made me sick. Then they took away the morphine and gave me something else..made me sick. Started me on pills with a shot to control the nausea..made me sick. I wasn't eating anything. I guess you could say I was being overdosed. They ended up taking away all forms of pain meds.
I am grateful for my family who took turns staying with me during the day so Bob could work. I am far from better, but way better than alot of people, so I am thankful.
Once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

None of us wants to go thru what you did, and you were in the thoughts and prayers of fish-folk scattered all about. Glad to learn you came through a tough ordeal with spirit and determination. Keep healthy and keep the faith. Spring is actually finally trying to be here. Enjoy!

Glad to hear your feeling better, Lisa!

I was in the hospital a few years for pancreatitus. While I was there, they kept injecting morphine into my IV. It really didn't make me feel sick, though. It made me feel....uhhhh.....never mind!! :)

Maybe sometime this summer we can go hang out in a parking lot somewhere!

Regards

Young lady, you have friends out here that you don't even know about. Get better and go kick some eyes. May the Lord smile upon you.
