I have a certificate to buy $100 of merchandise and am curious about a couple of things. Has anyone purchased the Ragatta Rain Suit from Lund? It looks like a nice suit but it sells for $170 so I would have to cough up the $70 plus $10 shipping. I am curious about its value, quality and durability.

If I don't go with that, I may pick up some of the soft sided Lund tackle boxes. They have three sizes. If anyone has purchased any of these please let me know what they think.

Anyone that has any of the Lundwear or accessories, I am interested in any comments. I am not worried about caps or sweatshirts. I have 2 caps coming from the promotion and think that the sweatshirts are over priced, maybe the Regatta rain suit is too.

I opted for the Lund jacket that is reversible. I can't say enough good about the jacket. It is warm and looks good. JJB

Not over priced when you got 100 bucks free to put toward it, hey?

Well, technically I paid for it too. It was part of the price of the boat the way I see it, but hey, I didn't intend to sound like I was complaining :)

That jacket does look nice too. I have a lot of jackets but it just so happens that I lost my rain suit last year. Had a cheap Stearns that worked but I am thinking of buying a higher quality this time. I am just wondering if that Regatta is good? Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Or, perhaps you could send it back as a contribution to their employee legal defense fund.

Ooops, sorry about that! Happy spring -- 50 degrees tomorrow for the first time in 147 days.

Jim and Cisco,

You guys are brutal:)

Do rivet kits work on Fiberglass boats? I suppose when you guys start cracking I could borrow it to you, I suppose I should carry some Aluminum sheets with so you can place it over your cracks and use my "unused" rivet kit to attach it.

Hey, I always will help a fellow walleye fisherman, even if they are in glass !!! :0

That one hundred dollar certificate would only cover about two hats and a sweatshirt. Items in the Lund catalogue are way overpriced, paying mostly for their logo to advertise, and not of that great of quality. Anything that seems appealing in the catalogue will more than likely run you over the one hundred dollar certificate. Lund makes out both ways, it's a cheap source of advertisement for their product and make a few bucks on the side. Too bad you can't deduct that amount from your boat. Been there and done that.

Remember to keep your eyes open and feet dry.

I almost threw the Lundwear catalog away when I rec'd it. I didn't care to pay to wear anyones advertising. However, the certificate kind of changed my mind and I decided if they paid, I'd gladly wear thier name :-). I got the largest soft tackle box offered and have been very happy with it. I also got the pliers and holder combo and it works well also. As far as the two free owners hats, mine took 13 months and several call to Lund to get here. They're a little gaudy for me but my Dad loves his. Just my two cents worth.

Hey Hawgeye!
How do you like the new Lund clothing line. Some nice stuff!
Possibly these clothes could even help me look good! (Well...better???)
Have fun... wear your colors proudly, man!

I got the pair of boat protectors with my rebate. They were the same price as in the Cabela's catalog and say Lund rather than Cabela's. I also got a long sleeve T shirt and a nice long sleeve button-down cotton fishing shirt. The T is too narrow in the body for its overall size. The other shirt is really nice, cool, and comfortable. Good luck.

LUND stuff is almost all overpriced. Find someone who is buying a boat and sell it to him for $80. Win / win situation.

If you order a coat order one size larger then you would normaly were they run small in size.
