My kicker motor (9.9 merc) is attached to my steering cables. I really miss the boat control that you have with a tiller. Is their something that I can add on that isn't to expensive? I would still like to be able to steer it with the cables in some situations. I guess I want the best of both worlds!!!!!!!!

Great question,. I'd be interested in hearing opinions on this too.
I just made a rod that goes from my big engine to the kicker for steering and put a quick disconnect on it. While my kicker is up its not connected to the main engine once I lower it if I want to I just hook the rod to the main engine to steer using the steering wheel, if I want to I can just use the tiller handle.
