Hey there,
Will make this short and sweet..Found out this week that I will have to undergo brain surgery this spring to remove a tumor from my pituitary gland..The doctors don't think that it will be malignant, but they're not sure..The tumor has grown around or encased one of my arteries, which has me concerned..
Just asking that all of you keep me in your prayers..
Thanks Guys

A friend of mine had a siezure in the middle of the night, without warning. Turned out to be a cancer. Had several operations on his brain, chemo, the whole course of treatment. It was a dark time for his family. That was ten years ago. Yesterday He stopped by after work. You would never know that anything had ever happened to him. Cancer really has slammed my family and friends. So far we have prevailed, but there were some tough times. Good luck and hang in there.

Went through what you are about to go through five years ago. Yes, the anxiety level can get high. You will certainly be in my thoughts and prayers - just literally "keep the faith" and keep your thoughts positive. The mind is a powerful force - don't let the spirits get away - it DOES turn out well... Peace. ET

I had a short-term infection that nearly killed me last September. Infection was near to blood stream and then my kidneys quit. That is not a good thing. Looked bleak at one point. Watched the clock tick away the seconds of my life one night. But, prayers and great doctors saw me through. Ten days later, I was fine.

God is good.

Life is short. Live it.

My prayers are with you and your family.

I had neurosurgery 6 months ago. Three large bone spurs in my cervical disks severly pinching my spinal cord. 100% numbness in right arm for 3 years.

I was overwelmed with confronting neurosurgery, but finally acted. It was a long difficult recovery, but I now have 80% improvement.

Buzzer,
I have been there and am healthy and thankful 1 1/2 years later! I ended up with two operations as the pituitary tumor was so large. The second and FINEST was at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. They really know how to do a perfect surgery and give you fine endocrinology work to get you back on your feet right away. If you have any questions, please e-mail me. I'd be glad to share more. After my Mayo surgery, the very next day I was in the lounge area playing dominoes with my kids. I can't say enough for their expertise and abilities in this area!!!
Know you're in our prayers, too. Connie and Ken
