Has anyone tried this line. How did you like it. how did you use it.

I have some on a bait caster that I use for long line trolling hard baits. I like the thin diameter and no stretch. The only down side has been that the line can bury in the spool pretty easy if you get hung up.

I use it on Dipsy Diver rods and on bait casters. I think it is great stuff. It's made of the same material Fireline is, but it's braided. Small diameter and does not fray so quickly as Fireline will. The mystery to me is why it is so hard to find in retail stores.

Cisco,
Any trouble with knot strength? Which knots do you use?

I use it for trolling and seems to be plenty strong. I always use the polomar knot with braids and havent had any problems with knot strength.

Mean Mike --
With Whiplash, I use nothing but Palomar knots. I use the stuff in tough situations, e.g. salmon on Dipseys in Lake Michigan, bass in the slop on Minnesota lakes, and both my muskie rods & reels hold 50 lb test Whiplash. I've had no problems with knot failure, fray, or breakage. I think it's great line.

I've never seen it, neither in stores or in catalogues!
