Can you pull small Dipseys with inline planer boards ? Derb.

I have never done it ...but I have heard of people putting the smallest dipsey's off inlines....sorry best I can do.

Even the small dispy has enough pull (drag) to cause the inline board to ride in, toward the boat. The purpose of boards, (inline or big boards) is to get the bait away from the boat so as to not frighten the fish as the boat passes above. The dipsy, large or small does basically the same thing, moves the bait away from the boat. There is really no reason to use boards and dipsys together since they do the same thing. Run plugs, spoons and other stright line baits off the boards and let the boards do their job of moving the bait away from the boat.
