I have not fished this area before and would like to try it. Are there any lakes in particular that I should try. Looking at the middle of June for our trip. Any information will help.

Thanks in advance

Check out Tony Deans website. www.tonydean.com. Some good lakes in the East and Northeast are Roy, Enemy Swim, Waubay and Thompson.

It's tough to say what'll happen by June, but You can bet that it'll be hot somewhere. I'd make plans to stay in either Webster or Watertown, and play it by ear after that. If you want to fish Thompson and the Waubay/Bitter area, you might be best off to stay in Watertown, as it's in the middle of all of it.

email me if you have any other questions, I'll be glad to help point you in the right direction.

Check out www.waubaylake.com those guys have a good web site. I talked with them a while ago and they said they were going to have an updated fishing report regularly. I know they also guide. I hired them last year and they did an excellent job and they are very knowledgable on their fishing.

Check out www.sdglaciallakes.com

This usually has current reports on the lakes of this area. I fish this area quite a bit, feel free to e-mail me for info.

Good luck.
