Is ther a min age for a youth to take out a power bota in Ontario?
What if they have completed the Safe Boating Course offered by the US Coast Guard Auxilary?
Thanks, my 14 year old want to take the boat out when we go to Canada in a few weeks.

[font color=green size=3][b]Last time I looked, it seems like Canadians had to be 18 and take a course to receive an operators certificate. I think you need to ask somebody in the MNR, but I don't think a 14yr old american can operate a boat in NWO.

Hi. I think they are rewriting the boat operator rules and for some a license of sorts is needed depending on age. you can probably google the answer pretty quick.

Yep, and where drinking is concerned, 19 year old Canadian converts to 21 year old American.
