Can anyone put me in touch w/ a local bait shop or a website where I might find (and purchase)a decent map of Lk Leelanau ?

Lobo, I can't recommend any particular store for a map, there is an MC Sports in Traverse City (don't know the #) that should have it. Otherwise your local DNR (Mich.) should be able to make you a copy, or as a last resort, MUCC (Michigan United Conservation Club) has maps of every lake in Michigan for a nominal fee. You might check Hotspots Web Site to see if they have one. Good Luck. Jigger
No luck at Hotspots - tried that several weeks ago. It's nothing that can't wait. I guess I'll just get one next time I'm up there.

Call 1-800-777-6720 ask for a Michigan Map Catalog (free) has over 2,500 inland lake maps. Or just ask for maps 41-7 & 41-8. They cost $1.00 ea.
