The temperature sensor that comes built in to the transducer is reading around 80 degrees when the water is about 45. This is not due to engine water discharge because it is so when I am running the trolling motor. I can't see any way to calibrate this. Anyone else have this problem?

I just called Lowrance a/b my temp question, which was that I purchased the speed/temp sensor for the unit and I thought that I would have 2 readings. One from the transducer and one from the speed/temp.They told me that the speed/temp takes over the primary temp.I know this doesnt help in any way, I thought I would just to let you know.Calling Lowrance seems to be the fastest.

Will call them right now. I opted not to go with the speed-temp because of all I have read about the speed wheel not being accurate at trolling speeds and the transducer already had a temp sensor. I find when I get much below 2 mph, the GPS often does not give me a speed reading, so no help there. I may go back to the speed-temp unit.

I called Lowrance and apparently the temp sensor problem is being called in by quite a few people. They think it is a software problem with the last update and are checking it out. Keep an eye on their website if you have this problem.
