I am not sure if that is how you spell it or not. Went there in 1979 before there was nything on the lake at all. Had to canoe down a river to get to the lake from the end of a logging road. Seems like we went an hour or two north of Red Lake. Man we had amazing fishing. I was just wondering what the lake is like now after 28 years. I hear there is a campground on it. ANyone know anything about the lake?

Having some problems with vehicles being vandalized at the landing. If you decide to go, leaving nothing of value in your auto. Drink tea when you are there, cause your booze is worth stealing. Fishing is still O.K.

Well if there is a landing, that's a lot more civilized than it was back when I was there. We were camped on an island and we woke up in the middle of the night to find natives trying to steal the gas out of our boats. Those were the only other humans we saw in ten days there.

was there sept 15 2008 awesome walleye and northern some perch. Definitely hide all fuel cans away from the indian camp ground as they WILL steal it! Pull the keys on your boat as well even though you may never see people they will come through late at night. Stormed the day we came 2" snow and two days later it was 70 degrees.

Green Brothers have a camp on the Behrens river. Same lake or river? Just curious.
