View Full Version : Lowarnce x15 Info
Looking for some feedback on the x15. I have a LMS350A with GPS and am wondering if the x15 is worth upgrading to. I've always had good performance from lowrance so I wouldn't mind staying with them, although I would be open to suggestions regarding other vendors.
Thanks

I just installed the x-15 in my boat last week, so far the unit is performing great, took a little time to figure it out though, im not a computer geek. I have been using it on a river that is seldom over 15ft. deep so I dont know the deep water capabilties of it yet, but so far I really like it, you can really see the screen good, even in bright sun. I read that Keith Segar had on in his boat in trenton last weekend, and said he could see walleyes behind rock piles in the river, thats why I bought one, hope it works half as well as it has been hyped! tite lines

I ran a LMS 350a last year on my tournament boat, and liked it for the features it offered. The new X-15 is more powerful, and has more of the features I'm looking for in that type of unit. Detail is excellent, and scrolling speed is no longer an issue after the new software update. My original unit had a problem with reading the MMC and Lowrance replaced it -no questions asked. While it absolutely played a big part in my success at the Detroit River PWT I can't wait to use it on some big water tournaments where I think it will shine it's brightest! Good Luck, and Tight Lines
