Problems with X75

Any of you guys had problems with your Lowrance X75 showing zero (0.0 F) for water temperature display after a few hours of operation? Once I turn it off and on, the display will come back on and read properly for a few more hours and go out again. No, its not a lose connection, I am very sure the plugs were all the way in. This happened several times and Lowrance asked me to replace the speed/temp transmitter but I think its the unit itself.

Anybody had this problem?

mtd, I have had the same problem with a different locator. It was the speed/temp transmitter just as Lowrance described.

had a problem with transducer on a unit that was out of warrenty, found that if you "nicely pressure " lowrance they will probably send you a new sender unit. good luck..
