Other than the additional length and width, plus the second baitwell, are there any other significant differences between the Lund ProV 1775 and the 1800?

I have the 1775 Dual console. I have also fished out of an 1800. The 1800 provides more room and handles the water better. With the new IFS hull, the 1800 sprays the water out more to the side so you don't get quite as wet. For only being a few inches longer, the 1800 runs the waves better and can take more horsepower(it is rated for a 175HP motor). For me the big problem was which one would fit in my garage. My garage is 20 ft deep and I had to remove the sheetrock between two studs to get the 1775 w/swing tongue trailer to fit.
The 1800 also has full length rod lockers along the floor whereas the 1775 rod locker is up on the side wall and does not easily handle fishing rods longer than 7 ft. The other place I noticed a big difference was the space in front of the consoles. In a 1775, it gets pretty tight up front when trying to use a bow mount trolling motor. This is especially true with a large footpad like those on the MinnKota Maxxum series.
Bottomline... both are a good boat but consider the layout and use of space before making your buying decision.
Good luck,

You did'nt mention if your looking at a console or tiller.I have owned a 1775 and was very pleased with it.I to wanted the extra room of the 1800,but after talking with others was told that 1800 was not as dry as the 1775.Plus with maximum horse power the 1775 was slightly faster.I hav'nt been in the 1800 first hand, but the 1775 fit in the garage nicely. Not to mention cost less money.

i have owned a pro v 1775 with 75 tiller for years and it is a great boat. the 1800 does have a little more space and the storage is reconfigured. also the consoles for electronics are different.
i will miss my old prov v when i sell it. i hate to sell it, but the wife says - you don't need two boats. waiting for my new boat now.
happy fishing.
