I am sure that this topic has been posted before, but seeing as I am new to this forum, here goes. I would like to hear some suggestions regarding splash guards for a 18.5 Skeeter console rig. I am going to hang a kicker on the back next to the 175 merc and the added weight of the motor, plus the fact that I am big guy at 265lbs, I want to stop following waves from entering the splash well as much as possible. Can anybody help me find a solution to this problem? Thanks in advance! Fishnwiz

They are made for your boat the way you want it set up. Have had others but will always go back to wave wackers. Easy to take off to clean and fit tight. I just put a set on a new Skeeter 1775 tiller, looks like they came from the factory.

I also have them on my Lund. You call and tell them what your boat set-up is and they are custom made to fit.

Splashgauds are the way to go. Check out Whitecaps Splashgaurds in Prior Lake 612-440-2153, they fit great and easy to remove.

These do not hinder the operation of the kicker motor in any way?

They come with rubber edges that can be trimmed as needed for the performance you seek. I have a kicker and a TR-1 unit and everything works great.

If I remember right I paid about 120.00 with a trolling motor cut out, which is the smaller size. I think the larger ones were about 15.00 to 20.00 more. The guy works out of his house, If I find his e-mail address I will post it. Hope this helps.
Good luck
